"Yeah, well I gotta go." Lilly started to walk off towards the door.
Sapphire gave me a look like she was ready to kill me. I knew she was jealous, big time. I slowly back up and started to run for my life. She chased after me! It felt like being chased by a rabid tiger on crack or some kind of drug. Like my dad says, whenever a girl chases you, RUN FOR YOUR DAMN LIFE!! She chased me all around the school playground and around the grownskeeper's shed. I look behind to see she isn't running anymore and as soon as I turn around, I run right into the Principal. Principal Skinner, or Skinrash.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the spawn of my worst student, Bart Simpson Jr." He looked at me sturn, holding both of my arms.
"I'm already in trouble on the first day of school aren't I?" I stunk my head a little. I could already feel it.
He knodded as he dragged me towards the main door. Sapphire gave me an evil smirk and waved. I flipped her off. Yeah, I was already pissed. I turned my head to see that Lilly chick staring at me like I was retarded. She didn't like me at all.
The school hours went by slow. I had to sit next to Sapphire ALL DAY. It sucked total ass! I tried to look at Lilly a couple of times but Sapphire would always hit me. Mrs Krabappel, on the other hand, had me sit in the front of her class since I am Bart Simpson's son. I take great pride in it but sometimes it can get me in some serious trouble. I have my mom's smarts and her emotional toll. I can't take aggervation.
"SAPPHIRE STOP!" I literally burst out. She really hit my aggervarion nerve.
"Bart Jr! No shouting in class!" Mrs. Krabappel pointed her pruny old finger in my face. "You're just like your father, rude and reckless." She continued to write on the board.
"Ugh, thanks a lot Sapph. I'm already in deep crap because of you." I grumbled to her.
"Heh, well you deserve it." The bell rang as she got up to go to the lunchroom.
"WHAT THE HELL DID I DO?!" I slammed my face against the desk and slowly began to walk out of the classroom.
Lilly was slowly walking to the lunchroom as I caught up to her. All of her friends had ditched her I guess. Sapphire I bet.
I ran up to her and started to walk with her.
"Hey. Where are your friends?" I asked
"Left me. Where the hell are yours?" She gave me a look.
"I don't know. I don't really have any except for Alex and Marty. They didn't come in." I put my hand into my pockets as I walked slowly with her.
"You look more like the person with many friends and getting into trouble a lot. Wait, you already got into trouble today right?"
"Yeah, I have to go to his office after school and my parents have to go too. My mom's gonna be pissed at me. I promised her no phone calls. I'm gonna get grounded for sure."
"It doesn't help that you ran into Principal Skinner. Could've just stopped."
"Sapphire was chasing me. God, she is so annoying. She's my cousin since my mom's best friend is her mother. She has a goddamn crush on me. It's SICK!" I shuddered as we walked to the lunchroom. I noticed she had a big lunchbox in her hands, bigger than what my mom would pack for me.
"Woah, that's a huge lunch!"
"Your point being? My mother always packs me huge lunches." We stepped foot into the lunchroom and sat together at the first empty table. Sophie was sitting alone so being the sort of nice brother I am, I let her sit with us.
"Jr, who's your friend?"
"Aquaintance, my name's Lilly. By the way, your bother is already in trouble for the first day of school."
"Jr! Mom's gonna kill you."
"Oh that's terrible for you Jr! Let me play for you on the world's smallest violin." She replied sarcastically.
Wow, snappy comeback. I could get used to her.
"Snappy comeback for someone who looks innocent enough." Sophie skowled at her.
"Like I care about your problems really. I may seem nice but really, when you get to know me, I'm pretty much a bitch." She closed her lunchbox and headed off.
"She's horrible! How could you even sit with her?" Sophie yelled in my face.
I stared at Lilly and replied, "I don't know. I think she's...awesome."
"Sweet god, Jr, you have a crush on her?! What is wrong with you?!" Sophie pulled her hair a little tight.
"I'm just like Dad. I love my girls fiesty."
Sophie gave me a disgusted look and headed off as well.
I continued to stare into space. I had to figure out a way to get her to like me.
